Donald Trump Jr. and his new wife, Bettina Trump (formerly Anderson), recently took a couple’s selfie that many internet users found to be the opposite of romantic or endearing.
The newlyweds were papped earlier this week, boarding a private jet and stopping to take a selfie while doing so. Upon closer look, internet users recognized that it wasn’t a typical jet, but a $400M luxury one that was gifted to the Trump administration by Qatar. The video of the couple taking a selfie in front of it rubbed numerous social media users the wrong way as they commented on them being “grifters.” Read more about their viral selfie moment and the backlash it received below.

Donald Trump Jr. & Bettina Anderson Stop To Take A Selfie In Front Of Trump's $400M Jet
It's no secret that members of the Trump family are no strangers to luxury items, from fashion to modes of transportation. This includes the president's children, like his eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., who's been spending a lot of quality time with his new wife, Bettina Anderson.
The pair recently got married during an intimate tropical wedding in the Bahamas, and have since returned from their honeymoon to the United States for various public events and outings, including the ones associated with the president's Freedom 250 project for this year's 4th of July.
Earlier this week, on July 1st, Donald Jr. and Bettina were photographed and filmed by paparazzi arriving at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, where they boarded the new Air Force One, which is a $400M luxury private jet. Unlike any other Air Force One plane or jet in history, the expensive one the family began using this week was a gift from the Qatari royal family, and subsequently has raised ethical concerns for many Americans.
As the newlywed couple boarded the gifted jet, they paused to take a selfie, a moment recorded by paparazzi that can be viewed here.

Social Media Users Slam Donald Jr. & Bettina After Selfie Clip Goes Viral
After the recorded video of the businessman and Palm Beach socialite was shared on various social media platforms, it didn't take long for users to begin chiming in, both supporters of the Trump family and their opposers.
On sites like Instagram, many users began expressing their anger about the selfie moment between the couple, expressing outrage related to not only their privilege but the controversy of using the expensive, gifted private jet, which is said to remain in the Apprentice star's possession even after he completes his second term and leaves the White House.
One Instagram user called the jet "Bribe Force One," as another commented, "Qatar is coming to repo that plane."
"Most corrupt people ever," wrote another.
One user commented that the couple's selfie video was "gross," and another added that they were "disgraceful."
"The grifters get to go on a joyride," joked a user.
