Nicole Kidman Opens Up About Divorce From Keith Urban
On August 13th, British Vogue released their exclusive interview with the mother-of-two, and Kidman did not hold back in talking about what her life looks like now that she and Urban have split. Much of it looks like this: "trying things, making mistakes, failing, getting back up, moving on, embracing love, staying open, keeping the heart open and the possibilities."
Kidman tries to abide by a "feelings first" mentality, explaining that she prefers "not to be ruled by my head."
"But at the same time, I'm like, 'OK, I didn't expect this. I had a different view of what my life was going to be, but this is what it is now,'" she continued. "You make all these plans and you have all these ideas of what it’s all going to be like and then it’s … not. You have to adjust. You adapt. The future, it’s completely unknown to me right now."
Kidman and Urban tied the knot back in 2006 and share two children together, Sunday Rose, 18, and Faith Margaret, 15. Earlier this year, they announced and finalized their divorce after 19 years together.

"There was a point where I was very fearful and deeply vulnerable," she said of the past year. "Which is exposing. And then at the same time [I'm] going, 'Well, I can either really not confront it and just curl up, or I can just go forward with an enormous amount of hope.'"
While Kidman grapples with what life looks like now, Urban has seemingly already moved on. Rumors started just day before their divorce was finalized at one of his concerts, when instead of singing "When they're tryna get to you, baby, I'll be the fighter," as part of the chorus to his hit song, The Fighter, he sang to his guitarist, Maggie Baugh, "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player."
There were also rumors surrounding a potential relationship with rising country artist Karley Scott Collins, 26. Though nothing has been official confirmed by either country music artist, there have been many reports that Urban and his new girlfriend are essentially living together after just a few months of dating. "I hear he has someone, which is why the girls are publicly supporting mom," one source said to the Daily Mail. "People think they are even living together."
