Sandra Bullock Opens Up About Her Divorce With Jesse James During Interview With Jennifer Aniston
One celebrity getting a lot of attention right now is the Oscar-winner Sandra Bullock, who has returned to the spotlight following a personal hiatus for the upcoming fall film, Practical Magic 2.
As part of her press tour and promotional period, the mom of two sat down with her good friend, fellow actor Jennifer Aniston, who interviewed her for the latest issue of Interview magazine. It was an extra special interview, given how Sandra described that the Friends icon has been a great support and friend to her as she's been grieving and grappling with the death of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall.
During their discussion, the two talked about her impressive career and how one of her movies, the 2013 film Gravity, got her through a tough time. Three years prior, she had officially divorced Jesse James, the Monster Garage star, whom she was with from 2005 to 2010, when several women came forward to reveal that he had affairs during their marriage.
"The one film that was the most meaningful to me, because it was paralleling where I was, was Gravity," Sandra told Jennifer. "It was during a really dark time in my life. Being locked in a box by myself with no one to talk to for nine hours a day, you do a lot of thinking."

Sandra Describes How Her Divorce Affected Raising Her Newborn Son
What the public wasn't aware of at the time the television personality's affairs came to light was that the Practical Magic actress had finalized her adoption plans for her son, Louis, from New Orleans, who was a newborn in 2010.
She revealed that they brought him home in January of that year, and she filed for divorce in April, doing her best to keep his arrival private for as long as possible. During her interview with the LolaVie founder, Sandra explained how the extra paparazzi attention due to her divorce was especially challenging, and she had to get creative when it came to protecting Louis' identity.
"I was just cleaning out the closet, and I found these hockey bags for stuffing clothes in for travel," she recalled. "Child Protective Services, do not come after me, but when the poop hit the fan for me...I realized I had to get out of the house because the paparazzi were going to descend. No one knew I had a newborn, so I put him in his car carrier, put it in the hockey bag, and zipped the hockey bag around him. Then, I carried the hockey bag to the car, as though I was just carrying any random hockey bag."
She also opened up about how she had to approach the tumultuous period and the lessons she learned when it came to the ruthlessness of the press.
"You have to operate like the CIA," she said. "If you're surrounded by good people, you'll be fine. But if people near you mean you harm, no matter how covert you are and how much pre-planning you do, your privacy is information that brings them cash. I had it happen recently, and it broke my heart."
