As the summer comes to a close and we transition into fall, that means people will be filling movie theaters to get a glimpse of the biggest autumnal-themed movies, one of which is Practical Magic 2.
The film is a sequel to the 1998 fantasy/romance hit starring the Blind Side star and Nicole Kidman, who will also be returning to her role. Given that it's coming nearly 30 years after the original, many fans are excited to see what's in store, what the new plot will entail, etc. It's also an exciting event for loyal fans of Sandra, as it marks one of the first times she's returning to the silver screen following the passing of her partner, Bryan Randall, in 2023.
In addition to the new storyline, viewers can expect a special surprise if they manage to spot Sandra's two children, Laila and Louis, as they make a special cameo. On August 31st, she revealed during an interview at the Los Angeles premiere of the movie that the siblings, who are 11 and 16 years old, will show up on screen, and that she's "unbelievably proud" of them.
"They're in the movie but not in an obvious way to you," she told Access Hollywood. "Yeah, not in an obvious way, and so I can't wait to sort of show them where it is. They don't know where it is."
Fans React To The News Of Their Cameos On Social Media
The news of the two 'nepo babies' making a special cameo in Practical Magic 2 quickly went viral, as it's one of the most high-profile things they've done, given that their mom tends to keep them out of the public eye as much as possible.
In 2010, Sandra adopted Louis, who was born in New Orleans, when he was a baby. Five years later, she adopted Laila from the foster-care system in Louisiana when she was 3 years old. Now that they're teenagers, they've lived largely out of the spotlight, aside from their mom briefly mentioning them in interviews or while talking about her experiences with motherhood. Therefore, the announcement of their low-key cameo excited numerous fans of the film and Sandra, who enthusiastically took to social media to comment on it.

One user wrote that Sandra looked like "a very proud mom," and that they were "so happy" for her.
