There’s no denying that Gwen Stefani looks incredible for her age, although fans think she *has* had some help from things like Botox and fillers to contribute to her flawless and age-defying appearance. And now, fans are once again convinced that the 53-year-old The Voice coach has had even more work done to her face – in particular, her lips – as some said she looked practically unrecognizable in her latest Instagram post!

Gwen Stefani Looks Unrecognizable In ‘The Voice’ Instagram Post

The former No Doubt singer posted a two-image carousel on her Instagram account on November 15th – a closeup and a full-length picture showing off her gorgeous gold Dolce and Gabbana outfit on the latest episode of The Voice – and her face admittedly looked a little different in the closeup image, with fans speculating what could be the cause of her different appearance.

Fans Speculate About More Cosmetic Work In The Comments

“Do not recognize this new face,” one fan commented. “She needs to stop with the fillers,” added another. “Quit doing cosmetic surgery… you look beautiful the way you are,” pleaded another fan. “She’s so pretty naturally that I can’t understand the need for all the extra stuff,” they added. “She was so pretty, I’m sad that she didn’t think she was. Whatever she had done is too much,” commented another. “#plastic I mean I still am a major fan but sheesh age gracefully just saying,” quipped another Instagram user. “Literally every celebrity is looking like a clone from the same plastic surgeries,” another fan wrote. “It’s the Botox lip flip,” another fan suggested.

What Is A Botox Lip Flip?

For those not in the know (hi!) a Botox lip flip involves Botox being injected into parts of the upper lip, which makes it look fuller without actually adding any volume to the lip (i.e., by using fillers) therefore resulting in a more natural lip transformation. You learn something new every day!

Gwen’s Look Gets A Lot Of Love In The Comments Section Too

However, it wasn’t all negative attention, as most of the comments section was filled with praise for her look, which featured a glamorous 60s-inspired bob with flipped-out ends and gorgeous makeup by Ernesto Casillas using products from Gwen’s GXVE line, which she helpfully detailed in the caption so her fans could recreate it.

“So stunning! I’m in love with the outfit too!” one fan exclaimed. “Isn’t she lovely,” commented another, followed by the fire emoji. “I absolutely love this look! Beautiful,” added another, followed by the star eyes emoji. “Love love love this hair / look on you!” complimented another approving fan. “This look is so pretty on you. I love this make-up look and the hair!” another fan commented.

Previous Criticism From Fans Over Plastic Surgery

Unfortunately this isn’t the first time that Gwen’s fans have voiced their concern over her alleged cosmetic surgery treatments. Back in September, the singer looked completely unrecognizable during an appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers. Although she looked sensational in her seductive outfit, fans couldn’t get past the way her face looked, as it suggested that she had undergone an abundance of fillers and Botox, among other things.
