Instead of going by Miley Cyrus as she has for decades, she's dropped her last name and is just going by "Miley." She debuted the name change with a post on Instagram: a red and black shot of her gazing into the camera with the caption, "MILEY."
This isn't the first name change for Miley, either. Born Destiny Hope Cyrus, the 33-year-old started going by her nickname "Miley" at a young age. The nickname was given to her by her godmother, the late Dolly Parton
