Donald Trump Allegedly Skipping 9/11 Memorial
The 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks is this year, and it was the initial plan to have all the living presidents at Ground Zero for the memorial. However, the New York Times reported that after memorial planners reminded Trump's team that politicians are barred from speaking at the site in order to maintain its nonpartisan stance, Trump changed his tune.
Instead, Vice President JD Vance will be at Ground Zero representing the White House, while Donald Trump hosts his own memorial at the Pentagon, which was also attacked on September 11, 2001. Melania Trump will also be in attendance at the Pentagon alongside her husband.

Across social media platforms, users were appalled by Donald Trump's alleged petty decision not to attend the memorial. "Figures...he found a way to make this about him anyways," one person wrote on Instagram.
